Dyson

Industry winds propelled me to explore the brand side of social media marketing. As the Americas Social Strategist at Dyson, I have learned the intricacies of adapting global strategies to maximize impact at the market level. My cultural background has been instrumental in the growth of Dyson social media presence in Mexico, Canada, and United States. Simoultaneously, I have participated in global strategic projects that have helped define company-wide best practices in social media listening, reporting, and social media management.


 

Critical Mass

Switching gears in terms of clients, I took on the role of Social Strategist for the INFINITI USA client. I strategized and managed the client’s social media editorial calendar, for their U.S.A. social channels. I was also an instrumental part of the teams that lead social listening, data insights, UGC (user-generated content) outreach, and reporting. During my time at Critical Mass, I provided support in servicing clients such as Asics, Lactaid, Aveno, among others.

As the Community Manager for Miller Lite in the U.S., I was instrumental in the development of social media tactics. I also tapped into my creative side by curating UGC (user-generated content), copywriting, trans-creating content in Spanish, and designing Instagram stories to support the agency's creative efforts on the account. I was a part of the community management team in charge of DDB corporate Instagram account. Additionally, I supported internal teams in servicing other agency clients such as Skittles, State Farm, and more.

As the Community Manager for Corona-Extra, Pacifico, and Cerveza Victoria in the U.S., I was given room to develop my knowledge in social media management, strategy, and content development. Although the majority of my work was in the bi-cultural space, I also supported general market brands, such as LIFEWTR, Mercedes-Benz USA, and Samsung Global. At R/GA I experienced my first big event war-room when we launched LIFEWTR with a Superbowl ad days after setting up their new social media accounts.


APPRECIA

Developed marketing, social media and email marketing campaigns to lead the development of the Apprecia brand in the Colombian corporate education and leadership training space.


 

GILT EDGE SOCCER MARKETING

Developed marketing and social media content for clients such as: Heineken US, Bimbo Bakeries, Panini USA and Scotiabank. Focused on delivering content based on UEFA Champions League, MLS and CONCACAF Champions League.
